The Nassau County Bar Association has announced and posted new Proposed Rules regarding the Nassau County Supreme Court Centralized Motion Part
The rules for the Supreme Court of Nassau County Centralized Motion Part will begin the first or second week of July. Per the NCBA, if you wish to comment on the proposed rules, please forward your comments by June 30th to Chris McGrath, Supreme Court Committee Chair, at cmcgrath@triallaw1.com.
Effective immediately, Queens Supreme has implemented new procedures and rules for the PC Part. Instead of being held in Room 314, all PCs are now being held before the referee in Room 3002. 9:30 calendar PCs are expected to be handled by 10:30 a.m., and 11:30 am calendars to be resolved by 12:15 p.m., otherwise a non appearing party will be defaulted and subject to the PC Order approved by the referee.
